1949 (22nd Series) Packard Super 8 Touring Sedan, rare long wheelbase 8-9 passenger model. From my research, one of the last 50 built.
327 Straight 8, #’s on head: 789719 327 and date code of 6-30-48. Engine will turn over by hand, not seized.
Body number is 2271-2342, also stamped on the cowl is <8I7874>
Odometer reads 50543, that’s all I know, don’t know when the car was last driven
Arizona Beige with tan interior, interior is complete and in good condition.
Most trim is included, what is missing are “common” items: Radiator, generator, air cleaner assembly, gas tank, taillights. No headliner, two side windows are cracked.
Body is solid, a few pinholes in the floors and a couple of index card-sized metal patches, see pictures.
