With a luxury car so well preserved inside and out, it’s great to have what is believed to be the original motor (per the consignor) still in the engine bay. Ford’s 400 cubic-inch power plant is related to the high-performance Cleveland V8s that went into legendary muscle cars. But in this larger displacement, it was refined to deliver the necessary torque to move this large limo in quiet comfort. This has been nicely maintained so it looks great and fires up on command.
